Birthdays are very special here at Northrich! Celebrate your Bear with a Birthday Bear Yard Sign. The sign will be set up in your yard from the Friday before your Bear's birthday through the Friday after.

Students are also recognized during the morning announcements and given a birthday card and pencil.

Parents are welcomed to send a treat to the student's classroom to be passed out the last fifteen minutes of the instructional day. Make sure you have called the teacher ahead of time to arrange this.

Due to some students riding a bus, prepackaged treats are highly recommended. Here are some suggestions:

• Twinkies

• Hostess cupcakes

• Pretzels

• Peanut butter crackers or prepackaged cookies

• Fresh fruit

Please do not have flowers or balloons delivered to your students for a birthday. Large birthday celebrations are meant for home.
