Letter from the PTA President

Dear Northrich Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Northrich Elementary! Whether your family has been part of Northrich for years or this is your very first year as a Bear, we are so excited to have you as part of our school community.

My name is Carli Luft, and I am honored and excited to serve as your PTA President this year. My husband, Chase, and I have four kiddos, two who are current Northrich Bears and two future Bears waiting for their turn! Our family has been part of the Northrich community since 2018, and over the years this school has become a special place for our family.

For the past two years, I have had the opportunity to serve on the PTA as Membership Chair. One of the things I have appreciated most about Northrich is how communicative and intentional our school is with its families. As a small neighborhood school, there is something special about the close knit community that continues to grow here. Our teachers, staff, families, and students each play a part in making Northrich what it is.

This year, I am excited for the PTA to come alongside our school and help make the magic happen at Northrich. Our goal is to support our incredible teachers and staff, create meaningful experiences for our students, and help make this the best year yet.

We are also excited to be starting PTA committees this year, giving even more parents an opportunity to jump in and be part of what is happening at our school. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little, there is a place for you. It truly takes all of us, and we would love your ideas, your talents, and your involvement as we work together to make the school year wonderful for our Bears.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our Northrich community and excited for all that is ahead. Here’s to a year filled with connection, learning, fun, and plenty of Northrich Bear pride!
